About The Event
Jeanne Bielke-Rodenbiker, librarian and genealogy specialist at Hennepin County Library, will give an introduction to the available genealogy resources at Hennepin County Libraries that can accessed free of charge through the library website at any of the Hennepin County Libraries.
Susan Weinberg, professional genealogist, will give a presentation on using immigration resources to locate information on your ancestor’s journey. We will then move into an assisted hands-on working session.
Participants will log on to the HCL website and will use web resources to research a selected relative’s immigration records. In preparation for the meeting, participants should set up accounts and bring passwords and login info with them for the following sites:

As we have a limited number of computers, we encourage you to bring a laptop with you if possible.
